Brief History

The Department of Plant Production (
Di.Pro.Ve.) is hosted at the Faculty of Agriculture of the
University of Milan (
UniMI). The
Di.Pro.Ve. was established from
the merging of the former Department of Plant Physiology and Agricultural Chemistry and of the Institutes of Agronomy, of Tree Plant Growing,
and of Plant Pathology. Therefore, the
Di.Pro.Ve. is endowed with all the skills inherent to crop production.
The research activity is aimed to the improvement of scientific knowledge, innovation and technology transfer, assuring the up-to-dateness of
the scientific skills of the personnel, upon which the teaching and professional training offers rely [
