May, 14 2012 - Si informa che con Decreto Rettorale 26/04/2012 è stata disposta la costituzione, a decorrere dal 27/04/2012, e l'attivazione del
Dipartimento di Scienze Agrarie e Ambientali - Produzione, Territorio, Agroenergia (DISAA), con sede in via Celoria n. 2. Nel nuovo Dip.to confluiscono:
Il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Agraria (DIA), il Dipartimento di Produzione Vegetale (DIPROVE), parte del
Dipartimento di Scienze Animali (DSA), docenti provenienti da altri Dipartimenti con afferenza personale.
Parte dell'attuale sito web del Di.Pro.Ve. migrerà all'interno del nuovo sito web Dip.le (attualmente in costruzione) indicativamente nell'autunno di quest'anno.Per informazioni più dettagliate si rimanda alla lettura del relativo Decreto Rettorale.
Brief History
The Department of Plant Production (Di.Pro.Ve.) is hosted at the Faculty of Agriculture of the
University of Milan (UniMI). The Di.Pro.Ve. was established from
the merging of the former Department of Plant Physiology and Agricultural Chemistry and of the Institutes of Agronomy, of Tree Plant Growing,
and of Plant Pathology. Therefore, the Di.Pro.Ve. is endowed with all the skills inherent to crop production.The research activity is aimed to the improvement of scientific knowledge, innovation and technology transfer, assuring the up-to-dateness of the scientific skills of the personnel, upon which the teaching and professional training offers rely [continue ..]

The research activities at the Di.Pro.Ve. concern a large number of issues able to affect plant growth, development and production, in relation also to the environment and biotic and abiotic stresses [Continue ..]

- Plant Biology and Production (Co-ordinator: Prof. D. Bassi)
- Agricultural Ecology (Co-ordinator Prof. G. Zocchi; Ph.D. School Land, Environment and Biodiversity).

Greenhouses and Farms
Many research activities of the Di.Pro.Ve. are carried out under controlled conditions in the two greenhouses located within the campus of the Faculty of Agriculture. Open-field activities are conducted in the greenhouse system located at Tavazzano (CETAS), at the experimental farm "A. Menozzi" at Landriano (PV) and at the experimental orchard "F. Dotti" at Arcagna (LO).
